| So many decisions, so hard to know what to do, it drives me insane to not know what to do, to just step out of your comfort zone, it's just... I don't know... I'm stuck. | | |
| So I finnaly finished the 7th book of Harry Potter, it's 5:39 in the morning and I havent slept for like a day, and now that I finished it, i'm depressed. WHY!!!!!! There has to be more, i'm gonna die!! | | |
| Same morning as always, except I think it took me a a while to get up this morning, and then breakfast, we went downstairs this time for breakfast, and it boring boring boring, then I finnally left and went into the lobby of the cottage. Waited about 30 min for roll call, and its nice getting to know the people on your team because you can have a normal coversation almost about anything, then our team cam up wth the weird idea of hug attacking people were we would start runnign crazy at people and then just pretty mch jumping on them and more like grabbing them. Then the rally, and tonight they would finish the story of nehemiah. The rally was the same and then worship, and I went up with ricky again and I got further in the front and I enjoyed it even more then the night before. After that Roger spoke again. He spoke about how all christians are leaders and how it will be demand, dangerous and depriving. Unfortunately I did not write down the rest of the day and the afternoon is pretty much a blank, and I forgot to mention that Casting Crowns came on tuesday and they are a whole lot better live. During when there should be tournaments we did the Blob and it was the weirdest fealing falling 10 feet or more on a big thingy and then flying off of it later and we did that a lot and it was sweet. Then we went back and we couldnt take a long shower but I had to take one because the water around the blob aint the best water. Then after the hot shower was dinner and it turns out that after dinner we had to meet at the volleyball courts and I didn’t know so luckily I followed someone. What was going on was was all the leaders had to throw balls at the wall your team had built up with points and what ever boards you have left you get points we didnt lose any but we only had two and so we were in last place still. So our team had to eat the funk which is all the food we had eaten in the past days all in one and 5 people from the team had to eat it, the team leaders, the family leaders and one team member except this time our team leader was annoyed at someone so he got to get 2 other people up. 3 people puked and the rest just swallowed it. We then had the rally and they finished the story and they explained how the play releated to the book nehemiah. And it just happend that all of this took time and they send us back for church time early so we could get that done and have more time later, we came back for worship and we were like in the back. People seemed even more on fire for the Lord, which is actually a wondeful fealing and a feeling of unity. And this time it was kind of nice to be with our team for worship, we ran up front but everybody was filling up the row fast, but it didnt matter and we were crazy. We got back and to our seats. I actually started to cry, because as JW knew I’ve struggled with fully beleiving in God and seeing that he really did love me, and I realised that in a moment its like the greatest fealing in the world and I didnt want to leave. And the fact that people are there to comfort you it made me cry worse sooooo. The really wonderful thing is that people dont care about it and they understand. Roger gave another chance for people to give there life to the lord and alot of people did. once they went back downstairs, they allowed people to get up again and start to praise again and they sang amazing grace, and I almost started cry again, it was truly amazing and feeling as light as a feather that I knew that God really really loves me it was wonderful and seeing how much everybody was into it I didnt want to stop worshiping. But we had to go to church times and pastor ron remembered that I had to speek that night and I know im not a good speaker but I did pretty good that night. but then I got to the part about what happened and worship and I broke down and you can understand what happened. Once again going back to bed feeling great. Friday we left and I’ll finish the camp story tommorow.

| Well, I'm finnaly back from vacation, i'm not happy i'm gone but i'm glad the two day trip home is done. Thursday the big day for me at camp will be posted in like a week. | | |
| DAD CAN YOU STOP READING MY XANGA AND IF YOU DO DONT TELL ME ABOUT IT, OK!
The first two days at camp were ok, but wednesday wis when things started happening. The day started out normal, we finally rode up the mountain, instead of walking, and what a relief that was. I think that was the morning were I was like dead tired and when they took that picture thats on my, MySpace. But I soon woke up, the morning was pretty boring since everybody was as tired as I was. Then we had the Quiet time which I think I already said what it was, its were were our group separates into smaller groups. Each group has two family leaders, a girl and a boy and they are picked by our youth group leaders. And in our small group we just happen to have the boy family leader and I saw why he was picked to be the family leader, he was very good and he could explain the story of nehemiah very well. After that again was the rally and they revealed even more of the story..... That the people who have been to GYC before knew the ending. Then we had our free time, then worship, By wednesday I was already really good friends with Josh (family leader) and Ricky, an there was this kid J.R, he followed me everywhere, and I mean everywhere! He followed me to lunch, to the blob , he seemed like he was a leash, I didn’t mind him at first, but when they butt into your conversations, it will drive you nuts. But back to worship, Ricky suggested to me that we should go up front with some of the people, which im not a big and jumpy person, so I was hesitant, but I didn’t want to say no, so I said I would do it that night. So then Roger spoke again it was really good message again but I just forgot what it was five minutes ago, I’ll post it if I find my journal. Later was the group time and I said 10 verses and I got my whole punch so now I have a better chance of winning the card draw. The card draw is. Cards are given to the adult supervisors that came with the churches and they come up to us and tell us to draw, we get to pick one card if we have no hole punches, 2 if we have one hole punch, 3 if we have 2 4 if we have 3 5 if we have 4. There is 6 cards, 4 losing, a win and an escape card, we lose 100 points if we et the losing cards, if we escape, nothing happens and if we win, we get 500 points for our team and once they make us draw that day, they cant do it till the next day. Then the cards go to other supervisors and they can do it to. Then we had our competition between teams and this time we were against 3 other teams, and what we had to do is steal popsicle sticks from the other team, but you had a flag and there were people gaurding the sticks and they could take your flags and then you would have to go back. We got last because our guards were really bad, I was a wood gather and had to steal the sticks, and we could only get one at a time, I got around 40-50 sticks. Then was lunch, the normal very boring but I couldn't wait to get a drink, Then it was like forever till roll call. Then we had a track times, but instead of that they separated high-school and middle school and then boys and girls, So I went into the boys high school group and they had a talk about some of the problems in boys life and how you can help yourself. After that was the Volleyball tournament and we were missing some of our team because they chickened out so we only had 4 people. But soon we were able to get enough people to come and it didn’t really seem like volleyball, it was a cheap version of it, so the people who were really bad at it could look good, it was our time to play and we won the first game our team was good. Then we had our next game and I jumped and slid to get the ball and like tore open mt knee bad and I was bleeding all over, soon ricky did the same thing but made it look even better by jumping into the crowd, we won that game. Soon we won the tournament, which got us like 2500 points. After that we went to the pool and I just went in my shorts because I didn’t want to go back down the mountain and change. We were there for like 30 minutes, we threw megan in a couple of times and sarah to, so it was fun. finnaly we went down the mountain, changed, went back up for dinner, I think it was pretty good that night. We had the usual roll call, then the rally which got better, then came the music, and I kept my promise and I went up front with rickie for worship, at first I was a little nervous for some reason, then I go into it and I loved it, I already love worshiping, but it’s something about getting up there and being with everybody else and using your whole entire body to eorsip the Lord, theres just soemthing amazing about that, it was like a kick in the chest in a good way because it just wouldn’t go away and it was great. And we sang Dancing Generation, Take It All, Came To My Rescue, Amazing Grace, and Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow. Then Roger came up again, I still have to look in my notes about what the full message was about and I cna’t look for it sine i’m on vacation right now. But at the end of his message he gave everybody a chance to give there life to christ like they did last year, and about 100 people, one again amazing, then went down stairs with there own youth group leaders, I don’t know what happened down there since I didn’t go because I already have given my life to christ, then with the people left, they sang amazing grace, then we were aloud to go out, then we had to go to church times and since we only had half of our group there I asked if I could go out since I don’t like that room at all, so I went and sat in front of the cottage and it’s really nice and cool at night. So it was nice, then jacob came and sat out next to me, but we don’t talk much to eachother so we said some stuff, At that time I also realised that it was the 4th of July. Then people started coming out and it was kind of cool for me because for like the first time I could actually help people along. Then we stated to get back into our church times. And pastor Ron asked us what had happened to us that spiritually, everybody had great stories to tell and they were very good too. Then it finnaly came around to me and I asked if I could do it the night the next night because I just had to do soemthing before I could say anything. So later that night after church time I went up to JW, talked about my struggles and life and how to be a better christian and other stuff, and he helped me with what I had to say tommorow. And tommoro played and even bigger part of my time at camp, so once again happy to go to bed I slept well | | |
